Current Individual Competition

Records for the league individual competition are known as far back as 1964 when it was won by Jim Doherty. This was the first of 9 finals for Jim. He won 8 of these finals, losing out only to the great Peter Foster in 1969. Jim won the competition 4 times in succession from 1971 to 1974.

The 2005 individual final was contested between two Crosville A players Andy Collis and Wayne Noble which was won 4-1 by Wayne. The finals of 2005, 2006 and 2007 were all contested between Crosville A players.

Mark Roberts won the 1983 final by 4-2 against Howard Griffiths at the Labour Club

1967 Final more photos

3 of the 1967 semi-finalists all played for the Churchmens Club, Old Colwyn. The other semi-finalist was Bill Morgan of Llandudno Crosville.

Arthur knocked out Peter Foster in a thriller which was described as the best match of the tournament whilst Jim defeated Bill Morgan. Jim went on to beat Arthur 3-0 in the final.
