Based on the North Wales Coast, this is a friendly league with players of all ages and abilities competing each Thursday evening throughout the winter months.

The season generally runs from the first week in September to about the first week in April when the annual presentation and finals night takes place.

League meetings are held every month, usually on the first Tuesday of the month but will be notified here and in the weekly email.

Mark Parry of Cricket A has set the pace for the highest league break with a brilliant 78 away at Crosville A and his team mate Tony Kearney had an 84 in the pairs semi-final to set the highest break so far in all other comps.

Ross Jones of Llan Cons B has also hit some good form this season, getting a very good 70 last week to add to his 73 and 74 and his other breaks of 43, 44, 45, 60, 65 and 61

Next League Meeting

Tuesday 3rd April 2012

7.30pm at the Cricket Club

At 80 years of age, John Fangio Jones of Llan Cons B can still teach the younger whipper-snappers how to do it after his amazing long pot on the final black to win against Joss Evans. Back in 1980 Fangio won the seasons highest break prize in the 2nd to last game with a very good 75 .... just pipping Dyfrig Thomas's 74 which Dyfrig had held all season!

Richard King of Llan Cons B has had an excellent season - he has won the averages with 3 games to spare and has twice hit the 2nd highest break this season of 76 as well as a 79 in his semi final Ind. victory. He has had a very impressive 12 breaks over 40 this season in league matches alone.

Dave Jones of Legion B who had an excellent 67 against Crosville A.
